Media Plus Privacy Policy
Media Plus is a collaboration platform for sharing cuts, collecting feedback, and approving deliverables across teams. It hosts media assets, comments, and user accounts on secure infrastructure.

What We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate Media Plus, support live productions, and protect your environment.
Account Profiles
Names, email addresses, organisation details, and profile photos for editors, reviewers, and guests invited to projects.
Media & Feedback
Uploaded video proxies, audio, documents, annotations, approvals, and time-coded comments submitted during review cycles.
Access Controls
Project roles, invite lists, and audit logs that show when users view or download content.
Device Metadata
Browser type, approximate location, and playback diagnostics captured to optimise streaming performance and detect suspicious access.
How We Use Data
- • Host and stream production assets only to users authorized by the project owner.
- • Notify collaborators about review requests, approvals, and delivery deadlines.
- • Maintain an immutable audit trail of who viewed, commented on, or exported content.
- • Analyse anonymised usage to improve transcoding pipelines and user experience.
- • Detect suspicious access through unusual login patterns or repeated failed attempts.
Third-Party Integrations
Integrations are optional and operate under strict contracts. Credentials remain encrypted and under your control.
Cloud Storage Connectors
Optional integrations with AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, and Dropbox inherit the customer’s own retention policies and permissions.
Editing Suites
Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve connectors exchange only the media references and review metadata required to sync edits.
Communication Tools
Webhook notifications to Slack, Teams, or email gateways contain only the message content configured by the customer.
Retention & Security
Projects stay active until archived by the owner. Archived projects are retained for 180 days before being permanently deleted unless contractual obligations require longer storage.
Support & Data Requests
- • Project owners can export review history or delete content at any time.
- • Data subjects may request access, updates, or removal via privacy@phandastudios.com.
- • We conduct quarterly security reviews and penetration tests across the platform.
